I am in Iowa doing some marketing for when we take over the club. So I decided to fire up
The new good one smoker for the first time!  On Friday morning it was -6 outside and snowing but I fired it up anyways. She kept good temp and I had killer butt in about 11 hours!  Then yesterday in 10 degree weather I gave the town samples in my  in laws driveway.  50 people came out to sample and loved it!!

We are going to be in the paper for doing it and I have booked a couple caterings as well. So it was well worth the cold and 7 inches of snow.  I will post up photo's when I get back Tuesday

Congratulations on the good press coverage!  And kudos for braving that kind of weather to do that.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Did my first brisket like that one new years eve in NW Montana. -10 deg, snow, wind and ice. Wind chill? Who knows but it was cold, fun but real cold. Good for you on the story, free advertisement is always a good thing.
