I decided to post on these because they actually tasted like ribs this time. They were actually tender and had flavor(what a concept). I smoked them with a mixture of cherry and apple wood with some rub I created. Feel free to comment. How much of a smoke ring should I expect for ribs?

Looks great, I like the cherry & apple mixture, that certainly should have added some great smoke flavor..

Keep the details coming..

Never expect smoke ring. Accept it as a good thing. Ribs won't get very deep smoke ring, like brisket might.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!
