Keller to Wear No. 2 this Fall
Senior QB switching to No. 2 in honor of high school teammate Angelo Richardson.

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University QB Sam Keller met with members of the media Wednesday to discuss his recent uniform change. Keller chose to change his uniform number from his familiar No. 9 to No. 2 in honor of his close friend Angelo Richardson.
Richardson, an ASU Spring football signee from Santa Rosa Junior College, was accidentally shot earlier this year. He remains paralyzed below the waist. Richardson was a highly-regarded wide receiver who played high school football with Keller at San Ramon Valley High before attending SRJC.
