Better, but I still don't see USC ahead of ASU this season, but I'm sure the sports guys feel like ASU shafted them the last 2 seasons on their predictions, so they want to CYA this year.

My predictions differ a bit...  Hopefully they are right at the end of the season...

I would be OK with USC being #5 in the nation as long as ASU was #1....

Who are the Sun Devils Playing that will be ranked to get them in the Top Ten?

Colorado, Oregon, Washington State, USC, CAL

If they win and win convincingly, they stand a good chance.  Thing is, in today's world of College Football, a team needs to be undefeated and convincingly in order to be considered for the National Championship.  Plus they need national exposure which most of the Pac-10 just doesn't get.  USC is the exception to that rule with playing Notre Dame and such.

Still, I have my hopes up and wish for the best.  Gotta have faith in the team...

I agree Thom. It looks like they play Georgia in 2008. I hope that they start putting some better teams in their non-conference schedule. That will only help them in the long run!

So if ASU finishes 3rd in the PAC-Ten then they go to the Sun Bowl, Right? They only upside of a finish like that is we could eat some good Q in Texas!! Yum!
