Rudy is starting to get just like Keller.  Keller used to talk a bunch of trash (I'm so good, sometimes I have to pinch myself) and then couldn't back it up.

From what they were saying, Rudy was talking a bunch of trash all week out in San Diego.  Where is the coach and PR people when he is doing this.  Someone needs to smack him upside the head and say "Knock that $hit off"...

Oh well, still a great season at 10-3, much better than any of us thought we would be, so I am grateful for that.

Got most of my gloating out of my system at Skip & Jan's on Thursday night.  There was only 1 other UT fan in the bar and we were sitting right next to each other.   There were 9 of us at our table and everyone stayed supportive of their respective teams with nothing obnoxious except after the boneheaded play by Mack's stepson.   When ASU scored after that I was catching a bunch about "changing momentum".  But it was more than made up for when a buddy of mine from home called every time UT scored.  His ringtone on my phone is the UT fight song.  Pissed the table off so bad that Mel took my phone. :-)

Have to say that after watching ASU all year I was a bit surprised at the outcome.  Don't know how much the taunting by Carpenter played into it.  But I'd bet money that Carpenter will have to put-up or shut-up next year or he'll find himself sitting behind the backup (Stevens?) that came in after he got his bell rung.
