Hey Mike, I should know by Saturday If I can get that weekend off work, If you want to honor early bird my check will be in the mail that day if I'm granted parole  . Looks promising as of right now!!

Re:  RHINO...  Just read through all the posts in this thread, and all I can say is I am REALLY looking forward to meeting all you guys! In the longest jaunt I've ever been on to compete, Bandit BBQ (from Illinois) is super stoked to be headed out there to compete and meet everyone!

Rhino...  Glad you are joining us!  It is well worth the trip!  I am thinking about investing in a house in AZ, just for the BBQ comps!  These guys and gals are the best!  No offense Cal.  I just love my AZ family!

Thanks! I'm flying in on the 26th to take care of a little business in Phoenix on Thursday, then headed up to Rock Springs on Thursday night or Friday morning. I need to find an inexpensive place to crash for Wednesday night, Thursday night, and Saturday night; before flying out on Sunday. Any suggestions???

I'd offer my place but we might be in the hospital having a baby.  Last month my wife did the preiceline.com name you price deal.  We got a sweet deal there.  Maybe try it out.  The only bad thing is that you have to pay upfront and can't cancel.


Also KCBS members get discounts at places too.
