I got the weber performer for 50 bucks off craigslist. I couldn't pass that up. Beeing as I had a one touch and now this I decided to build my own. I found a web site off of google that showed some guy who built one. So I kinda took his plans and mod'ed them to fit my bill. She works great holds right at 250. Fairly even temps throughout the drum of course slightly higher in the first door.

That's great. But I need to know, do you need a stepladder to get to the top? And it sounds like the price was right.
