Review of cast iron grates for Weber kettle

Discussion started on

Got my new cast iron grate from http://www.cast-iron-grate.com today and tried it out on a ribeye. These grates are a little expensive but very well made, preseasoned and heavy duty. These grates are worth every penny ( as Scottie said). The 12 oz ribeye me and Otis ate tonight was phenominal. Piled on the Dizzy Pig Cowlick Steak Rub and 8 and a half minutes later...perfection. Otis almost beat me to the keyboard to tell ya. Highly recommend.

Those things look wonderful!! I'd love to have one with the griddle insert. Camping breakfast every day!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Now if we can only get Otis to give us the Brisket Recipe?  Match that with Duke for the beans Recipe.  ;D
