I can attest Harry puts on a great class. While it is a class designed for beginning BBQ I am sure everyone, even a seasoned pitmaster will learn a few new tricks along with open ideas to improve their Q. The class is well organized, informative and everyone has a hand in the preparation. Harry is a great communicator and will take the time to explain and answer questions. The feast is worth the class price alone.

What a great class. Fun, educating, and damn I got full.

Harry is a great guy, and BBQ Island was an awesome host for the event.

"I've been to a lot of BBQ stores across the country, and this by far is the most impressive and extensive I've ever been to" -Harry

I was floored!  Harry and Donna know their stuff!  It was a BBQ 101 class, but Harry and Donna went out of their way to throw in all sorts of comp knowledge during the class for us comp cooks.  Harry is a true student of the game, he knows SO much.  I would almost pay to retake this class.  One thing I really appreciated is the fact that they did not side step any question.  On top of that, Harry ended the class with a pretty cool speech about his love of BBQ and as an immigrant to the country, BBQ really intrigues him because it is 100% American.  He said that low and slow cooking is a dying art and its our job to keep it alive.  Pretty cool.
