After two days of solid driving and over 1700 miles logged, Rhythm 'n QUE arrived in Tennessee late Wednesday night!

We drove from Phoenix to Oklahoma City on Tuesday and then from Oklahoma City to Murfreesboro, TN on Wednesday with a stop in Little Rock, AR for a late lunch with some friends.  We're over in Brentwood, TN doing some perishable supply shopping and then we're heading down to Lynchburg.  The forecast is for heavy rain, possibly an inch or more, on Friday so we're going to try and get set up today and then just brave the weather tomorrow.  The forecast for Saturday is partly cloudy so things should be great for the big day!

We'll report in when time allows and we really appreciate all the well wishes we have received from everyone.  You can count on us to do our very best and make everyone proud.  It's really great to have everyone back home pulling for us!

Hi everyone.  I'm sitting under our canopies right now as there has been a steady rain falling since about 3:00AM.  We knew the rain was coming so we got everything set up on Thursday afternoon.  They say that cell reception is spotty here in the hollow but we've got a bit of signal so I'm able to keep you posted a bit on the goings on here.

I don't know if the parade of teams is going to happen at 4:00PM today as I doubt anyone, be they team or spectator, is interested in getting soaked to the bone.  We're set up on one side of a small track and Fast Eddy told us last night that BLQUE is not too far away.  He said Larry is expected here this morning but I haven't seen him yet.

The meat inspector came by not too long ago so we'll start working on our meat prep pretty soon.  A few friends of Alexa's drove over from North Carolina to surprise her and they're here with us now.  The kids are bored out of their skulls because the rain is keeping them here and not running around with the other kids they've met here.  The hot cocoa I've just been asked to make should ease their pain a bit.

OK, I have to go make that cocoa now but I'll try and post at least once more before the games really begin.  Thanks once more for all the encouragement and messages of support we've been receiving.  We feel you all with us here, especially Jay and Monica.  We're greatly missing you two.

Vince, I can just picture it and I feel for you.  But remember, it's an experience and one you will never forget.

Enjoy it all and enjoy the hot cocoa.  We look forward to hearing more as it happens.

We are all experiencing the Jack through you and are pulling for you both.

Great job and good luck...
