Hey all, Ryan and I just finished helping Mr. & Mrs. Bear move into their new digs today and it looks like they will be ready to entertain on the 8th of July for those of you looking to get out of the heat and head up the hill.

We also discussed getting the Pay per view of the UFC fight that night, so it should be a great day, great BBQ and great evening up there.

Bear did ask that we try to get an estimated head count on who is planning on coming so they know how much food to BBQ up, so if you are planning on going, please sound off.

Looking forward to seeing you all up there...  ;)

Bear, what is your exact address so I can Mapquest it...

BBQQQQ do we have to have BBQ? Just kidding. If you are really taking another head count the Willis family of Desert Hills will be attending. Jeri Lynn, Bob, Trevor & Josh.
Count me in on the fight and again, Can I at least make a Dutch Oven Cobbler or something... get 'em all fat and sleepy so they are not in the way during the fight
What time can or should we roll in Saturday? We are going to be camping in the area from Wed, on i believe. We should be ripe for the party... we'll try to find a campground with a shower as the Casino wont let us check in till later in the afternoon.
Let me know about the cobbler

I will try to make the mapquest thing work. Won't work by directions to our street. The street is brand new. 911 doesn't even have our adrress in the system yet. I will make it work though.
Cobbler sounds great. Thier is some nice camping spots at Scott resevior. Not the best fishing (rocky bottom but should be ok if you are reeling in with a catfish on the line.) they have toilets and garbage dumpster, other wise primitive camping. The lake is about 5 minute drive from the house.

Bear, after talking with you this morning i did talk with the Lakeside Ranger District and YES Scott Res. is open and they plan on it staying that way... Upon further review I also spoke with BIA and found that a lot of the Apache Sitgreaves is open on the rez. Inculding the cabins & lodge & Hawley lake... I couldnt resist Bear... I booked a room in the lodge for 65 bucks a night... Thur & Friday so perhaps... Beets the heck out of hauling the tents, lanterns & tarps just to sleep in the rain and not have a fire.  You & MRS. Bear want to come hang on the rez. we can do that or perhaps we will still come in on Friday mid day to see if we can help you with set up or just drink your beer.. then when it starts to go twilight we can stumble down to Scott Res. & drown a few worms.
Yes thank you, the Cobbler is good. "Made me three times the man I was"
And BTW
Don't worry...911 will know exactly where you live by the end of the weekend...DOH!

Here is the link if anyone else wants to stay there too.  http://www.hon-dah.com/home1.html
