We knew we were going to compete at Taylor and at Rawhide but we couldn't make firm plans to attend any other events without knowing how the car would handle towing a heavily loaded trailer.  Since it made the trek to Taylor with no trouble at all, we've decided to add two more comps to our schedule:

Clovis Red Hot & Real BBQ Championships - Clovis, CA - September 28 & 29
Smokin' In The Park - Alpine, CA - October 19 & 20

Both are KCBS sanctioned events and we're looking forward to participating in them.  Is anyone else planning to compete in either of these events?

That sounds like a couple good comp to continue to work on the craft.  I wish you luck.  Say hi to Kim and Brnet for us, as Clovis is there backyard.

I am aready putting together a calender of events for next year,and Clovis will definatley be on the list ! I have at least 1 if not 2 events scheduled for every month next year with the exception of Jan. It is going to be a busy 2008 !
