I have spread a lot of things in my time, but wealth has never been one of them.....

You could at least show them that pork/brisket magic trick that you have mastered.   ;D

Oh no....it's WAY more awesome than that.  You'll have to get the story from Dean.

Back on task!!

So it looks like we have 4 teams willing to help out the new teams at the Prescott event (new teams that will most likely kick our @$$es).

These teams are:
Pappa Charlie's Barbeque - Wesley (RangerJurena)
Major Woody's - Dean (desertdog)
VRM Pit Crew - Lisa or Crash (Crashs Wife or Crash)
AZBarbeque - Mike (Mike)

If any new teams want any assistance at the Prescott event, I'm sure any of the three teams mentioned above would be more than willing to assist.  Of course, trade secrets on how to consistently finish in the middle-of-the-pack wont be given out.  I'm sure we are all still more than willing to help you guys out in any way.

I would suggest sending a PM to the team that you would feel most comfortable with.

And as always, if you have any questions just post them up and someone will answer.

Just save rib trimmings for the food groupies, man! I'll bring my own cooler...
I'd say you and Wes have earned the right to mentor, because even with a low comp count, you've both done rather well, at least in one category or another.
OTOH, I still don't know the backstory with the meat ID mixup. I'm thinkin' that if I look thru the old threads, I may find the answer to my question.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Chubby Hubby will certainly Mentor you.  Just depends upon what aspect of a cook-off you need mentoring with.  They have the Party till you pass out technique down pat..

All kidding aside, Chubby Hubby are some great guys as well and already have one RGC to their name.  Not too shabby.. ;)
