Loot N' Booty BBQ will be competing in the 2nd Annual Arizona Taco Festival Oct. 15th at the Scottsdale Waterfront at Fashion Square Mall (Same location as the AZ BBQ Festival). There are 42 teams competing this year (most of the teams are local mexican restaurants). Come out and support your AZ BBQ Members and try some of our BBQ tacos!! We look forward to seeing you all there.

I'm a judge for this, and was there last year.  It was a blast!  I strongly encourage everyone to attend.  Happy to see my good friends at Loot 'N Booty BBQ are in on this one.  Best of luck to you, my friends!  See you out there!

We ended up taking 8th overall out of 42 Taco teams.4th in chicken, and Rob took 1st for his side cart Taco. Great seeing some AZ BBQ members out there. See you all in 2 weeks at the Boo Bash.

You guys did fantastic! We couldn't believe the lines y'all had all day long until we tasted your tacos. Rockin' stuff to be sure especially with your "kicked up" salsa on top. Way to represent bbq!

What was the side cart taco?

Rob did a desert taco. It was served in a waffle cone shaped like a taco shell with gooey crumbled brownies, creme fresh, strawberries, and chocolate shavings.

I remember that fondly.  All of us were sitting at the table moaning about how freaking full we were and how we couldn't possibly eat another taco.  As soon as we saw that one come in the tent, we said that we would judge it.  Granted, our table must have eaten about 30 tacos at this point plus a couple of salsas prior to that taco coming in.  I think 5 out of 6 people at the whole thing!  That was a really good dessert taco.
