Title: Loot-N-Booty BBQ Class - 1/16/2016
Post by: Piper on November 02, 2015, 08:30:48 pm
Has anyone ever done this? Looks like this isn't their first. Is it worth the $150?

Is the class worth it?? depends if you want to learn how to cook hot and fast.  Smitty has a lot of experience as a competition  cook, multiple grand championships, reserve grand at the 2014 American Royal (550 teams). and Arizona's rep at this years Jack Daniels

I think if you could learn a few things, see something new then, yes the class is worth it.  But just my opinion.

Hello Chris - This will be my 4th BBQ class. I usually charge around $250/$300 for my Competition secrets class. This class will be a mix of Backyard with some Competition stuff thrown in. We will be cooking Brisket, Pork Ribs, Tri-tip, and Chicken. You all will be able to eat everything and we will have some great giveaways from my sponsors. I am also talking to Mike West owner of BBQ Island and he will probably have specials on Gateway Drums for class attendees.

A lot of AZ BBQ members and Grand Canyon State BBQ Association members have taken my class. Feel free to ask any of them what they thought about it.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks,
Smitty

Just an FYI - this class is limited to 25 people. I like to do smaller classes so I can maintain the integrity of my cook and give more attention to everyone in the class.

Hope to see you all there!

Anyone who wants to save years on perfecting their BBQ needs to take this class.

You will learn more in this class then you will on your own.

It's that good.  Besides, I taught Smitty everything he knows.  LOL.

Heck yes the class is worth it.  As an alumni of Smitty's first ever class I can tell you it will be full of good information for both the backyard guys and competition teams.
