Title: KCBS Certified Judging Class

Looks like AZBBQA is holding a KCBS Certified Judging Class (CBJ) in Mesa on August 19th, 2006. I am interested in doing this. I heard that it really helps with your competition turn in's when you know what the judges are looking for. Plus it is nice to sit and eat BBQ.  ;D

Anyone else thinking of taking the class?

Yea, I saw that too.  I am going to try to do that as well, hopefully in the next few weeks here I can turn in my entry form for it.

I will see if we can't get a few others to join in as well.  That certainly seems like it would be a very knowledgable class to take.

Yes I took the class It helped some Good to know what the Judges are looking for

Hey all, I signed up and Ryan signed up to attend this class.   Is there anyone else from here that would like to join us at this event?  It will be a great time to learn what the judges are looking for at competitions.

Signing up with the link does NOT obligate you to attend the class...it is merely so we can guage interest and determine if we have enough people to make the class "official".  We have been in contact with KCBS and blocked a date. 

If you wait to sign up until the class is a GO then the class will not happen. We will not take real registrations or collect any money until we have at least 24 express interest by July 9th.

This class was cancelled, not enough participation..

Maybe next year we will get a better turn out.  Hope to see you there.  ;)
