Add two more coming with me.

I talked with George over at Restaurant 28 yeasterday.  Really looking forward to having us over.  Looks like he might even want to throw his hat in the ring at some upcoming competitions, Carolina Style!

Restaurant 28 serves up great BBQ as well as some excellent soul food.  His fried catfish as delicious, along with hush puppies, fried okra, red beans and rice, homemade mac and cheese, peach cobbler, chiterlings....on and on and on.

Really looking forward to trying the two different types of Que this Saturday, esp. since I grew up on Kansas City Style.

By the way, anyone care to head down the street to Bobby Q afterwards for some adult beverages (and maybe more Que?)  I-17 and Dunlap.

KidCurry, where are you coming from?

Kinfolks is one of my favorite places to eat, Ivan over there is a great guy.  Big City is also great, Joe is a great guy.

The way the Crawls work is that we all meet up at the different BBQ Restaurants and order what we like from the menu (Each person is responsible for their own bill), then we come back online later that day and write up our review of them.  The BBQ Restaurats all donate some great prizes and typically have some great specials so we can try out different things from their menu.

The best part is that we all can get together and enjoy each other's company as it's tough sometimes at the cook-offs.  We also have had a lot of items donated for door prizes and such and it's great to visit all the different BBQ Places here in town.  We try to choose different places each time.

Hope to see you there, it would be great to meet you.  Everyone is real friendly and welcoming.

The Prescott area...I am just trying to convince the wife...she really does not like the heat, thats why I do most of the cooking  ;D.  With gas the way it is it would be cool to make an entire day of it find some pecan, eat some q, meet some folks...

Family friendly?

It does sound like a good time and I sure could use some good Q.
