It will be from 6 am - 10 am down at the ASU Campus, right off of University.  I will see if I can get an exact address for you.

Anyone else able to come out this day and time to help out.  It really is a lot of fun.

I always love getting the calls and e-mails after it from people telling me they saw us on TV.  It's pretty cool..

Mike,  At the chili cookoff last week the brisket winners received a very cool (I thought) BBQ chefs cap.  It's to difficult to describe, Bear got one, and only comes in white.  So I made a decission and bought 20.  My idea is for us to wear at the telethon with an AZBarbeque.com pin.  But if you don't care for them no problem they can be worn at BBQ cookoffs.  Anyway, I'll bring them with me Monday unless you want to see them earlier.  They are scheduled for delivery today by UPS.  Let me kn ow.

OK, finally got all the details.

AZBarbeque's time is on Monday, September 1st from 6 am until 10 am.

We need to arrive by 5:30 am.  YES, I know that's way early, but it's all for a great cause and we all do greatly appreciate it.

You will need to go to KAET Studios located at

Arizona State University
Stauffer Hall
10th Street and Myrtle
Tempe, AZ 85287-1405
Phone: 480-496-4530

It doesn't give specific directions, so I would call the number listed.  From my experiences, take University West from Rural and you will make a left on Myrtle and look for the KAET Channel 8 Studios.

They say to park in the parking garage adgacent to KAET (Look for the MDA Telethon Banner).

I still have some openings.  Anyone else want to come out and join us?

Jerry and I were a little nervous at the beginning, but we had a good time and left feeling good. There was several large groups with matching tee shirts, it would be nice if we could get more of you out next time to represent AZBarbeque.

Yea, it was an incredible day out there, I just got home and I am exhausted, but it was all for a great cause.

I will post some more info and pictures later.

Hopefully next year, we can get better AZBarbeque showing.
