Title: $5 Meal at Famous Dave's for Member of Military

May 13, 2010 (Phoenix, Arizona) - To commemorate this Armed Forces Day; Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que is offering all active and reserve military personnel a $5 Burger and Beer. From 11 AM to 11 PM on Saturday, May 15, 2009, all Active Duty, National Guard and Reserve members are invited to visit any of the four Famous Dave's locations in the Valley for this special priced combo when they show their military ID.

"Supporting our local armed service members means a lot to me," said John Erlandson, Famous Dave's franchisee and Army Reserves Veteran.  "This is just a small way for us to show our appreciation for everything they do to keep us and our families safe.  We want to recognize and honor them for their selflessness, not just on Armed Forces Day but throughout the year."

With a hearty roundup of award-winning ribs and hickory smoked meats, Famous Dave's offers signature menu items, such as St. Louis-Style Ribs brushed with Rich & Sassy Sauce, Texas Beef Brisket, Georgia Chopped Pork, Country-Roasted Chicken, Wilbur Beans, Creamy Coleslaw and Dave's Famous Bread Pudding. Guests can also enjoy delicious char-grilled burgers and lip smackin' sandwiches. A Lil' Wilbur Kid's Menu includes classic kid favorites, such as Macaroni & Cheese, Chicken Tenders and Root Beer Floats. In addition to dining in the restaurant, Famous Dave's also offers Bar-B-Que TO GO, as well as catering for businesses and events.

That's great that they are doing this for our military!! You might want to change the title of the thread though Mike - kind of misleading!!  :-\
