Has anyone heard of these guys and know if they can actually cook any decent Q? :D ::)
In all honesty, it's great to see that Todd and David aren't boycotting our state. We're looking forward to attending this class for sure.
-
From David's bio, "The years of meat experience, understanding and having the ability to recognize serneros, and being thorough in prep and cook methods gave an edge in the competition bbq world."
Will we be able to recognize a sernero after your class?
??? :D
I'm not even goin' after the "...married to Wilma of 11 years."
;)
-
It's worth the money just to watch Todd prep his turn in boxes. He should have been a surgeon. :-X
-
For some reason the link still isn't working for me?!? >:(
-
This one in Mikes first post just worked for me: https://www.poweredbyu.com/fucius/respondent/rsvp.php?event_code=1SK7E428TB
-
I am coming in from SoCal for the class. What does the turnout look like so far? Any hotel advice? Other than beer and an Arnold Palmer for Thom, what do the new guys usually bring?
-
Hey all, did you see how Plowboys & Butchers did in this week's Royal? They rocked both the invitational and the open.
If you have been on the wall about this class, now is the time to jump in. These guys win consistently and their techniques and class will be well worth the money.
It will shave years off of your learning curve.
Makes a great Early Christmas present as well.. ;)
-
Mike, I tried to sign up for the class and failed. Could be I use a cell phone for my internet or? Count me in and I'll call with my sign up.
-
Brandon, it might be a cell phone thing, but try this link https://www.poweredbyu.com/fucius/respondent/rsvp.php?event_code=1SK7E428TB
Hope to see some more of you out there..

Todd has this priced right at $250
-
Still room? When's the deadline?
-
Yes, still plenty of room..
-
I need all the helpI can get I will be signing up this week
-
Signed up and ready to learn need to find out what and how to cook comp. back yard I got the hang of
-
Does anyone know the actual times of the class on both days?? seems this site and their site lists different times... What time does it start and end on each day?
-
Not sure of the timelines myself, but I also wonder if we are to bring our smokers, our own meat,??? Not many details on this available.Maybe I will call BBQ island and get some info and post up what I find.
-
We're going to start at 2pm Saturday, Nov 20 and go into the evening, then retire until 6am on Sunday morning.
The class is now Plowboys only as we didn't have enough people signed up to support both David and I coming. So, we've pulled it back to one cook and cut the class fee in half. There will be a LOT of information for $250, I can promise you that. The class is a show and tell by me. I'm giving you 100% of what I do.
