Post by: ddog27 on October 26, 2006, 08:02:04 pm
Got this in my email.

Come Taste Bold Flavors at Barbeques Galore

You know Barbeques Galore as a place for sauces and rubs with bold flavors. Next weekend, the ragin’ Cajun Brian Boulet, master chef behind the flavors and sauces of Cajun Blast, and John Burt, flavor mixer and founder of Fat Boy Rubs & Sauces will be demonstrating their bold flavors at Phoenix area Barbeques Galore stores.

Come out for a taste of ribs basted in Cajun Blast or Crawfish “Boulet” using other Cajun Blast seasoning or smoked pork roast with Fat Boy all-purpose butt rub and easy crudite dips using Fat Boy rubs.

See Brian Boulet on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 1- 5 pm at
Barbeques Galore, 21001 N. Tatum Blvd., #16-100, Phoenix, AZ 85050
And on Sunday Oct. 29 from 1- 5 pm at
Barbeques Galore, 800 N. 54th St., Chandler AZ 95226

And see John Burt on Saturday, Oct. 28 from 1- 5pm at
Barbeques Galore, 9101 E. Indian Ave., Suite 2, Scottsdale, AZ 85250
And on Sunday Oct 29 from 1- 5 pm at

The Tatum store is the one at Desert Ridge -- hmmmm, might have to cameo and see what's going on!

Stopped by the Indian Bend location today and they are real excited about it tomorrow, told them I would try to stop by, but I have a gig at 1:30, so I doubt I will make it.

If any of you can get by any of these locations and promote the Lake Cook-off, that would be awesome.  I dropped off a bunch of posters today for them to hang up, so hopefully we get some people excited about the cook-off.

Mkay, I stopped in at the Desert Ridge store and was plied with not only a lavish serving of crawfish etouffÈe, made with cream rather than roux, but also another large cup of corn and crawfish soup that was similarly divine.

More than worth crawling through the Saturday traffic in that anthill -- heck, that was lunch!  (http://www.divaherself.com/funny/shiner.gif)

Awesome, were you able to tell anyone about the Lake Pleasant Event?  I didn't get a chance to get out there, had a gig today and was busy with it all day.

I know they got some more going on tomorrow, maybe I will try to make one of those.

Thanks for the feedback, I love Crawfish Etoffee...

Oh, you bet.  At this point, it's becoming difficult to shut me up.  All the Little League mommies know where to come for People's Choice sampling next Saturday, too   ;D
