We're not gonna be at this one but I wish we were.  Alexa is going to be out of town so the kids and I are staying home.  Tim and Teresa are heading out of town too so I don't even have a tag team partner.

Good luck over there, Jay.  I hope you and Monica do really well.

BTW, are you planning on doing the comp in Thousand Oaks on Aug. 3 & 4?  We're planning to be at that one.

If God wanted us to be Vegetarians, why did he make animals out of meat??

Thanks guys, we will be doing the Thousand Oaks comp also. In fact that's the next one after this weekend. Long time in between.

Not if you come out and do the July 4th Rib, Chicken & Burger event.  Who coud resist a chance to win a free entry into the big November event at Rawhide?

Yea Jay, we should know by tomorrow if that is a Solid event.  I have my fingers crossed.

I talked with Tom at Whisky Ranch tonight and he said he is going out to Victorville this weekend as well.  Should be a great contest.  Wish I was going too.

Sorry guys, but cookin in 115 degrees is not very appealing to me. Even Prescott Valley at a 105 degrees doesn't appeal to me. I even got a little too much heat in Boulder City at 98 degrees. I suppose if I had my motorhome I could at least get out of it for awhile.

Jay, heat issues are easily resolved with liberal applications of beer.

You can count on this advice being 100% accurate as I am, after all, a native of the great state of Arizona.

I've been here for 36 years and as much as I love beer, it just doesn't work for me in those temps....believe me I've tried hundreds of times.
