No, I'm just confused by your cryptic description! We've been to Stagecoach and had a great time prepping meat while listening to the Eagles, but it's been different each year and I don't understand what the set up is based on your blog. I get that the vending is separate and profitable in it's own right, especially plus the 2 extra tickets, but I am confused about if the Taste of BBQ and vending are one in the same and the Taste of BBQ/vending samples are judged and considered part of Saturday's awards. Booth and dessert are Saturday, correct? Sunday is more vending (if applicable) and KCBS?
We have been doing Taste of BBQ instead of PC The primary difference is the crowd does not "vote" of their favorite
Vending is cooking huge amounts of food for the crowd and working all the hours of the event and then paying a percentage of your gross
Taste of BBQ is about enjoying the afternoon selling 3 OZ Tastes (Kyle did Pig Candy in 2010) and giving festival goers
the chance to try many different teams comp. BBQ and creative items, All cooked on site. Most teams will do this
Saturday the CBJs will judge the Taste Cups and we will have the Dessert Category
Sunday Four Meat KCBS and continued Taste of BBQ Vending
