Is there anyone here going to that event ? I was just curious,I am going to do it.Any event=more practice and time to use my Diamond Plate ! I love,BBQ, and just "hanging out"and meeting  people .This will be my first time at the Hoof and Foot,should be a good time !

Tim,  Unfortunately, we do not have a "Stock" Diamond Plate smoker to use, so it looks like we will be skipping this one.

Tim, we most likely won't be there either, just too many commitments going on this month and we don't have one of our units in stock.  I am trying to get out there as a judge, that would be cool.

Does anyone know the results of this event?  I know that BBQCZAR and his Barbeque Bullies were planning to compete and I was wondering how his team fared.

Well we did better at Lake Pleasant than we did this past weekend ! I am not sure what we are doing wrong,but I will get it fixed ! This was only the 2nd contest we did, and I am not happy with the results,but it's ok,we will do better in the future,I GUARENTEE it !!! I can say however we had ALOT of fun and I thank Aaron and his family for inviting us and for putting this contest on for all.Aaron,I am looking forward to April,just PLEASE clarify rules better  so teams know what is expected of them.The contest area was GREAT, and we all had a good time and look forward to the future !! Thanks !!

 Keep at it Tim. Also look at this way...one great thing about bbq, is that even when we have our worst days....What other activity can you do where your worst mistakes taste so great?
