After talking to several people at Stagecoach, it seems many are open to the idea of having a camping trip, with some fishing and having a crawfish boil. This will take place in the White Mountains during the summer. I will have like a couple dozen crawfish traps while we all fish, or hang at the camp, hike, or whatever. Just a good time in the cool, and have a cajun crawfish boil and fish fry.
I'd like to see how many are interested, and see what is up with schedules, so we can pick the best date to accomadate the best turn out.

We're always up for fishing and camping, we're already trying to plan a weekend to go.  We have crawfish traps too so let us know and we'll be there!

I am thinking July 18-20 looks as good a time as any. Going to check out the best accomodations for large group camping.

Jim, as far as the your crawfish traps go...AZ game and fish have an "all you can catch and eat" policy.  ;)

Oh yes, and we catch as many as possible and they are big ones!  We take the traps out in the kayaks with us and find the good spots.    It's like we could have our own version of Deadliest Catch.  Maybe we could have our own version of it, "Not So Deadliest Catch...the true story of crawdad fisherman".  It's got a nice ring to it.

Bob, does the previous or following week work for you?

AZGnF owned lakes doesn't have the camping sites for a group takeover. We go to the Hon-Dah casino often for sunday bruch, next trip I will get the full low down on whats availble for reservations for group camping. Big bear is great, as well as hawley and reservation lakes.

I haven't been able to find anything on group campsire reservations at Big Lake. I can always run over there if no one frequents and knows Big Lake. I think there are 4 camping areas. Most are limited to 22foot max RV's
