2nd Annual Great SouthWest ChopperFest & BBQ Cook-Off

Last year was such a big success that we're gonna do it again. Check out the August 2012 edition of Easyriders magazine for a pictorial and write up of the 1st Annual!
Details are still coming together but here's what we have for now... and we're looking for teams to participate!

THE 2nd ANNUAL GREAT SOUTHWEST CHOPPER FEST & BBQ COOK OFF

LABOR DAY WEEKEND - SEPTEMBER 1-2, 2012 !!!!

BENEFITS St. JUDE'S CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL!

FREE MERCHANDISE VENDOR SPACES! FEE FOR FOOD VENDORS! BBQ COOKOFF! SAUCE & SALSA CONTEST!

FREE ON SITE CAMPING! WET T-SHIRT CONTEST!

CASH PRIZES! BON FIRE! BURNOUT PIT! LIVE BANDS!


This is not a sanctioned event but it will strictly follow BCS rules. Payout will be 100% of total entries and is based on the total number of entries.

Thanks for filling us in. I know that was a concern for many of us parents. I'm no prude, but the thought of bringing kids to a biker rally with wet t-shirt contests does make for a hard sell with the lady folk.

I completely understand Mark. I have three young teens in my house and do not want them around a wet t shirt contest. Mrs. Bo made sure I had plenty of other things do do during that part of it last year too!

The Chopperfest went ok but the Cook-off didn't happen at all. Only one team of three showed up. We still raised over $600 for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospitals in spite of it all. So,,, I'm going to say that it was a success!.. :)

That is the plan but we are considering moving it to some time in October for next year. Come on down!!
