Now we know it's still very early in this 2010 season, butt we don't want you to forget about the early 2011 season.

This year you may submit your applications in one of two ways:

1. You can use the team application attached to this e-mail and send in your checks and
entry via mail or,
2. You can now apply on-line electronically, along with your teams entry payment.
Please use the downloaded form as a guide line if doing the application on-line.

"UP-DATED" SPACE INFORMATION

1. This year there will only be (45) total SPACES available on the main grass area for teams, and these are first come first reserved. If you want in the grass area please do not forget to check this box when doing your application, when these spaces are no longer available the option will be taken off the website. Please get your entries in early as these spaces will fill fast. Sorry this was a Fire Marshall issue. All other teams will be located In the parking area.

Some really "GOOD THINGS" to Remember for 2011:

1. This Years Prize Fund is has increased to $14,000 CASH (NO CHECKS)
2. This Years Entry Fee is $300 & includes one 25' x 25' space w/one electric connection (20 amp max).
THEIR IS AN "EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT" UNTIL JANUARY 1, MAKING THE TEAM ENTRY FEE ONLY $250
(side categories, extra electric & extra space additional)
2. This year we will again pay all categories down through 10th place.
3. This year we will have more entertainment (free main concert, and several other bands)
4. We would like to try something new with "Peoples Choice". This year we would like trying a two day PC, this will make the teams more money to help off set costs, plus we had such a demand from the public last year. PC foods are all 4 main category foods and chili.
5. Grand Champion @ HAVA BBQ will receive a free entry into the following years event.
6. We are adding an additional Car & Bike Show to also attract more attendee's.

HAVA BBQ would like to Congratulate Smokin S'wine BBQ Team for being the winning team from Arizona to receive a FREE ENTRY to the 2011 event.  All 28 teams that participated or where paid where eligible for the drawing.  The drawing was held August 5, 2010 during our regular Lions meeting.  Dave Quiggle Western Ambassador for AZBarbecue.com was present and had the honors of drawing the winning team.  We are looking forward to seeing you all in the Spring, and appreciate your support.
