Hello all, hope your 2010 is going well so far. We just wanted to let you know about what we have coming up in the near future.
February 6th, 2010 - Rib only Cook-off at Whiskey River Saloon - FREE to enter, 3 racks of ribs need to be turned in.
February 7th, 2010 - 7th Annual AZBarbeque Superbowl Party at Whiskey River Saloon. $5 for Adults, a portion goes to one of our supported Charities.
February 13th, 2010 - BBQ Island Egg fest, Tempe, AZ. Come on out to the first "Official" Egg fest in AZ.
February 26th & 27th, 2010 - 1st Annual Havasu BBQ Cook-off - KCBS Sanctioned, $10,000 purse, Official State Championship
March 19th & 20th, 2010 - 1st Annual Downtown Chandler BBQ Throwdown - IBCA Sanctioned, over $10,000 in Cash Prizes, Official State Championship
April 9th & 10th, 2010 - 1st Annual Arizona BBQ Festival in Scottsdale - KCBS Sanctioned, over $20,000 in Cash Prizes, Official State Championship.
June 6th - 13th, 2010 - 1st AZBarbeque Group Cruise - Carnival Cruise Lines, Mexican Rivera, Group Discount & lots of great activities & fun on board. Come join us for some fun in the sun.
July 16th & 17th, 2010 - 2nd Annual Prescott BBQ Days, Prescott, AZ - IBCA Sanctioned, over $5000 in Cash Prizes, Official State Championship
November 12th & 13th, 2010 - 4th Annual Sun City Festival BBQ Cook-off, Buckeye, AZ - KCBS Sanctioned, as of right now, over $10,000 in Cash Prizes. This will probably grow. Official State Championship
The cook-offs are also all part of our AZBarbeque Triple Crown Circuit and accumulate you points toward our Team of the Year race out here. 2008 Winner, Jay & Monica, Otis & the Bird. 2009 Winner, Jim & Adrian, Sweet Peppers.
The Havasu & Scottsdale Cook-offs are going to be huge, we have a lot of media already scheduled to come out to both and the sponsors for both are big names. There will be a lot of great exposure and energy around both of them.

2009 was a record year for us here at AZBarbeque and 2010 looks like it will be even better. Our last 2 competitions in 2009, our 3rd Annual Sun City Festival Cook-off and our Tempe Brew 'N Que helped determine the KCBS Team of the Year. BBQ is really picking up out here in Arizona and we expect to have between 6 - 10 cook-offs this year.
AZBarbeque continues to remain a FREE BBQ Club thanks to our great sponsors. We currently have over 1500 Registered members and are averaging well over 2.5 Million hits per month on the site. Just last month, we had over 3 Million hits on the site. If you have not been on in a while, we invite you to stop back in and check it out.
