In the summer you don't even need charcoal, just roll the smoker out into the sun.  ;D

I always wondered if I lined the bottom of my weber kettle with aluminum foil and rolled it out in the summer sun if I could cook without charcoal. Might have to try that this summer. ;D

So,

We got the BBQ ISLAND Cookoff in March, anything else coming up before we head over to Stagecoach in April?

Did I hear someone mention the Avondale gig was on again this year?

We are still working on some other cook-offs, but until we get all the details locked down (location, Sponsors, Hard $$, etc.) we don't want to announce them.  We've already have 2 that were supposed to happen this year already fall through, so keep your fingers crossed that we get these ones locked in.

Just a teaser, we are working on a Steak Cook-off, a Whole Hog Cook-off, another IBCA event and 2 additional KCBS events.  These are in addition to the big Pulte November one that we are just about to finalize once again.

We should have a really good BBQ competition year out here in AZ this year.  ;)  We are all working hard to get these events dialed in so you all have some great ways to enjoy this wonderful hobby we share.  ;)
