Hey all, the dates are finally set for our 2006 Annual Guys Camping Trip. They are from Wednesday, August 23rd through Monday, August 28th. This is our 5th Annual Guys Camping Trip and it has become a great annual tradition for all of us. We have some great memories as well as made some great friends during the years.
If you can't make if for the entire time, at least try to come for a few days, or just the weekend.
If you are flying in, you have to fly into San Luis Obispo Airport. America West does fly into there.
It is going to be a great trip.
If you are interested, please log onto www.GuysCampingTrip.com and make your non refundable $50 deposit today to lock in your place on the trip.
It will be a blast. Nothing but BBQ, Friends and Beer....What more could you ask for.

We have currently only reserved 2 campsites for these dates. They accomodate 8 campers. We currently have 8 that have already sent in their R.S.V.P.
If you are planning on going, please get your deposit in today so we can reserve more campsites. If we wait too long, they will be gone. This campsite sells out every day. It is that popular of a camp site, especially that time of year, so don't wait. Besides, the $50 isn't going to kill you, but it will make you commit to doing everything you can not to cancel as it is non-refundable.

We now have reserved 4 camping sites for this year's event. We have 11 people who are confirmed and about 10 others who are still tossing around the idea. If you are intersted in joining us for this fantastic Annual Event, please log onto the web site www.GuysCampingTrip.com create an account and pay your $50 non refundable deposit. This way, we can properly plan for this event.
The camp sites at this park are reserved many months in advance, so we need to know now who is going. If you are planning on attending, please R.S.V.P. and let us know. It is a great event every year and it is only getting better.

We currently have 12 confirmed people going on this year's trip and 5 - 10 more who are still deciding.
If you would like to join us on this trip, we are taking reservations now. We need to know A.S.A.P. if you are going so we can make sure we have enough camp sites for everyone. This is a very popular camp site and it does fill up quickly.
It is going to be a great trip again this year. We will be putting together the menu in the next few months for our time out there. Here is what we had on some of the past trips... Lobster, Chili, Beer Can Chicken, Briskett, Steaks, Shrimp, Salmon, Biscuits & Gravy, and lots more great, mouth watering food.
Join us and enjoy 5 days of relaxation and good times.

Hey all, I just got the sweatshirt in from http://www.cafepress.com/guyscampingtrip and it is very cool. Good quality on the Sweatshirt as well as the printing. Fairly heavy duty and should be great for the camping trip.
I hope you all decide to get one as it would be a cool thing to have for the trip.
Remember to order it early as there is shipping time involved. ;)

7 weeks from today is our 2006 Annual Guys Camping Trip. If you are still planning on going, but have not yet committed or gotten your reservation and deposit in, you need to do so now as the camp sites are going fast and we will not have enough sites reserved if you commit later.
Also, please make sure to order your 2006 Annual Guys Camping Trip gear from the store web site so that you have it for the trip. It does take a few weeks to get in.
It's shaping up to be a fantastic trip this year, don't miss it. Fun time, Great Friends and total relaxation....And it's on the beach... What more could you ask for.

Temp today was high of 68, low of 55. Camping right on the Beach, BBQing all day, having a few drinks and telling some great jokes...
Looking forward to seeing everyone, anyone else going to be joining us? Hope so, it's going to be a fantastic trip.
Unfortunately, Dominic and his boys will not be able to join us as originally planned. Worked called.
Terry is planning on bringing some aged scotch and I am bringing some aged Captain Morgan & Bud Lite...

I am usually in from 9am till 11 am,then I go out and do service work in the home.My employee said the cooker was awsome ! I will get in touch next week so I can get to meet you and look at the smoker.Is mine still due around mid sept.? I am very anxious ! Let me know and we will get together next week sometime.Thanks !

Allan, That link is for Morro Bay Campground, we are actually at Morro Strand Campground. It is much smaller than the state beach one and much more cozy and private. It will be a great time, that's for sure.
High over there today is 63, outstanding.. Unfortunately, it is looking like it will be in the low to mid 70's when we are out there, I was really hoping to keep it in the mid to high 60's for the trip, but at least it will be much cooler than here... ;D

I just wanted you all to know what you are going to be missing on this weeks Guys Camping Trip.... I've heard the excuses, but right now, they don't mean anything. You aren't going and it is truly your loss.
Maybe you can commit for next year. We will post pictures during the week if we can.
Going to really be breaking in the new grill.
Smoking up some great food this week.
I can picture the post card now..... "Wish you were here, guess you should have tried harder"... ;D ;D
Temp is low 50's to high 60's, planning on having a campfire the entire time.
Got people coming on the trip from Philly, San Antonio, San Diego, Mesa, Phoenix, Peoria, Goodyear and Scottsdale. Three guys are flying in to make this trip. Now what's your excuse?
Enjoy your weekend. I hear there is a monster truck show at the new Cardinals stadium you can check out. We will see you when we get back one week from tonight. ;)

My kid is missing 4 days of school....On the first week....High School at that....Have to break the teachers in right... ;D
I still have a wife... ;D
My wife actually enjoys when we do our "Guys" trip as her and my daughter then do a "Girls" weekend, massages, nails, makeup, hotel, etc...
Most of the guys coming are married and all the women plan their own version of a "Girls" weekend, so it works out pretty good.
We will be posting some great pictures during the week and letting everyone know how great the trip is. By this time tomorrow, camp will be all set up and we will all be throwing back a few....

That is never an excuse. With 17 guys going, all expenses are covered... We have a few guys going this year that have has some real financial issues this year. Everyone just steps up to the plate and does that they can. Some people are doing well this year, so they pick up the slack.
Besides, all the food is already purchased. If you ride with someone else, they the only cost to you is a tank of gas... Really not too bad.
Hope to see you there next year, you now have a year's notice now... ;D
