Whoop, there it is.

LOL! Truth be told, UA has to lose to ASsU occasionally in basketball. That way, Herbie gets a contract extension, thus assuring that the slum devils will continue their quest for mediocrity.
That game was ASsU's NCAA tournament, since they won't be getting in any postseason work (unless it is slinging burgers at McDonald's).

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in awhile.

It's more than once in a while. I was surprised to read that Sendek is 9-10 against the Cats in his tenure at ASU.

That record is not surprising at all, Mark. But if you recall, Herb's record includes the "lost" years transitioning from Lute Olson to Sean Miller. Against Miller the last 6 years, Herb is 4-8. So it really IS just "once in a while". But, hey, as long as it keeps Herbie there, I'm good with it.

So true Mike. If UA needs to trip and get embarrassed by losing to ASU once in awhile, it's a small price to be paid for keeping Herb employed. Maybe ASU can take March off and focus on the success of getting back to that 3rd tier anonymous bowl in El Paso.

Better to end a football season with a bowl win than with your tail between your legs. Oh, that's right. Wildcats don't have tails. Just one more thing Sparky has over Wilbur. ;) >:D

I think you just illustrated The Sun Devil philosophy perfectly. You would rather go to a mediocre bowl, play a mediocre team, and win.... rather than go to a great bowl and put it all on the line and possibly lose. That's why ASU is what ASU is.

Trust me. You'd really like the smell of roses. You should try it sometime. ;)
