So you want a stickburner but don't have the room to park a trailer?

I didn't mean to editorialize about the price Brian.  ;) I love the looks of your stuff. In fact, if I have more time next East coast trip I take, I'd love to come see your place, get a first hand look at your stuff. Those small smokers are pretty heavy, aren't they? I didn't look to see if you stated an approximate weight.

Just looked. 75! That's more'n what my fat dog weighs! Neat.

The first mini with the trailer frame and propane bottle weighs more than 80. The new one i built weighs more like 40. I was able to trim down weight by reducing the materials involved. I went from 1/4" thick body to 3/16" and 1/8" which in scale is still way more than sufficient. I actually was able to make a nicer build with the thinner materials also due to the fact i was able to bend the thinner materials which left less welding like the internal baffle which came out really sweet in the new mini. This is also part of where the $150 less came from. New fabrication methods giving less man hours involved. When I get an order for one of these, I can have one start to finish done in about 3 days depending on other shop workload. The holidays coming, Im anticipating what happened to me last year which is everyone waits until the second week of Dec and wants it for Xmas.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

it's a hand fabricated pit which takes days and is actually as hard or harder than building a full size pit. Think - "ship in a bottle" and the original idea for these was to be a working display and something I could play with at home. It was my fellow BBQ friends who convinced me to put a price tag on them.

First, take your digitalis. Then look at the first post. Price is near the last line. Have a defibrillator handy.

That would make a great prize. Although I'm not sure who would want to strut up on stage to accept the "Teeny Weeny" award. ::)

I've just finished a much lighter (roughly 40lbs vs 75lbs for the old one) and still as functional unit! It's the 2.0 mini!!

The chamber length is 1" longer and 1/2" deeper, the Drain is larger and flows better, the baffle is flat to also be used as a griddle, the draft is much more consistent from the new vents, the latch is much sturdier on the new patio configuration. Im knocking $150 off the price for these buggers!

Shipping is all based on your location. The current version 1.0 we have weighs aprox 75lbs. The version 2.0 we are currently crafting has a target weight of 50 lbs and does not have the propane pre-starter.

Very cool news out today! This is now the world record holder for the shortest reverse flow smoker!

That is an awesome smoker, we are thinking about getting some of them for the GC Trophy for our next event.  That would be pretty cool trophy.. A working Mini..

Mike, I think that would be an awesome GC award.   Would that be included in the prize fund??  ;D  Could not help myself.

Cool.  And, still...out of my price range.   >:(

Aww sorry bud! I have around $280 in parts in the little bugger and a week of fabricating. Working on getting it down to 3 days and less materials to lower the cost some and try to make a few $ on the deal. Most if not all of our products are priced too low right now but its paying off with getting us orders while helping our customers in these times of hardship. I know I understand the pain of my customers and the desire to still have great BBQ stuff!
