2013 AZBarbeque Triple Crown Team of the Year Awards

Hey all, we will be handing out these awards at Freedom RV this coming weekend.

Not sure if we are going to do it at the Cooks Meeting, Appetizer Party or Awards, but it will be at one of them.

Hope lots of you can make it to this event to see all these great trophies and last year's winners.

Mike - what BBQ comps are all included in the Triple Crown?

There were 5 this past year.


Freedom RV, Shorty's Ribfest - Overall, Havasu Landing, Out of the Ashes & Pit Crew & BBQ

So the Triple Crown TOY covers the exact same comps as the BCS TOY? What is the difference between the 2?

This past year it just worked out that way, it's the only year that it has.  I can't force the other promoters to make their events part of the Series.  If they don't see the benefit, I can't make them. 

You can only lead them to the water, you can't make them drink it.
