WOW, what a great year for the Arizona Triple Crown of BBQ and our Team of the Year race.  We had 66 different teams come out to our events this year and compete.  That's just amazing.

We met a lot of great people, made some great new friends, lost a few very special people who will never be forgotten and finished by not only crowning the Arizona Triple Crown of BBQ Team of the Year, but also the National KCBS Team of the Year.  Simply Amazing.

We Thank everyone who came out and supported us over this past year, BBQ Teams, Forum Members, Judges, Sponsors, Volunteers, Public and of course, our good Friends & Family.

Here are the lists of all the categories.  Remember, a Team had to compete in at least 2 of our events to qualify for the Arizona Triple Crown of BBQ Team of the Year race, but their top 3 Scores counted toward it.  We had 4 contests, so those teams who competed in all 4 events were able to drop their lowest score.

A HUGE Congrats goes out to Jim & Adrian of Sweet Peppers BBQ Team, our new 2009 Arizona Triple Crown of BBQ Team of the Year.  Great job, we look forward to seeing you both back out here again next year and defending your title.

Congrats to all of our Category winners as well:

Chicken - Jim & Adrian of Sweet Peppers BBQ Team

Ribs - Jim & Adrian of Sweet Peppers BBQ Team

Pork - Erin & Jim of McFrankenBoo BBQ Team

Brisket - Alexa & Vince of Rhythm 'N Que BBQ Team

What a great year.  THANKS AGAIN to EVERYONE..

Congratulations to all the winners, and to all the teams that competed. And I'd bet next year will be an even tighter race.
