I made the jump for quality thermometers. I got the Javelin Pro Duo and the Carbon Lite from Lavaworks. The biggest problem is that the app for the Carbon is iOS only--Android is coming.
I'll post, then try pics.

You will love the Javelin. Works excellent.......just be careful the probe is real sharp and it will register your body temp when it sticks in your finger!

Same here, I bought a Javelin when my Thermopen died didn't see dropping $125 on another. Think I paid $28 for Jav.
