@chefrob - I only have two cast iron skillets...a medium one and a large one, but I think I'll be adding more pieces to that arsenal.  I may have to hit you up for advice with wood-fire cooking.  Totally different world for me.

@auggieaug - A lot of people just use clay from the ground in their yard, but my yard is pretty much just rock.  I substituted powdered fire clay (H.C. Muddox) that I was able to get at Marvel Masonry.

Man O Man that looks good.  a buddy of mine bilt one too and when he puts in a pie he throws in course cornmeal first to test the temp. if it chars up its perfect temp...if it burns up to Hot..White pizza Yummy
