Amazon seems to have the best price today at $320 shipped.

A couple weeks ago I saw one at Ace Hardware for $295 on closeout but they have all sold.

There is a great deal on the 18.5 at Amazon for $211 shipped although it is from a new company, Appliance Palace without ratings.

BBQ Island in Tempe will usually give you a deal if you ask, they also have every supply you will need.

I have a couple 18.5's for sale with $175 for one without a water pan, (well seasoned) and $195 for one complete which has only been used once, (not quite seasoned yet). If I was buying I would look toward the Amazon listings as right now they have the best deals.

I would Check with the Guys at BBQ Island first. I bought mine online and thought I had the best price with no shipping, then I found out that I could have saved a few more dollars at BBQ Island with the AZ barbeque discount.

Yeah I got a hold of them so that looks like where I will be going to get it now I just gota wait till I can get there before they close hopefully Saturday when i get off work I can get there early ! I had asked them about the BBQ Guru and they had recommended the IQue 110 saying it was cheaper and easier to use has anyone used one of these as to I have no experience with either one of these due to me chicken hawking the pit for the entire cook and it would be great to not have to do that lol !

Read the reviews at http://www.nakedwhiz.com/productreviews.htm of the ATC units. I know many who like the IQ110 and a few who don't. You have options, personally I have a couple Aubers (okay at best, not so good at under 250 IMHO, but works very well on my UDS) and a Stoker (will keep my WSM's within 1-2 degrees AT MOST all day long, IT ROCKS!!) Good luck! I really don't know the guys there very well, but they recently got into the IQ110, so there ya go. I know the GURU is a good product too. It's built well, holds a good temp and easy to use.

gotta support the local boys!  BBQ Island is top notch and they have EVERYTHING you will need to get started.  Just seeing Sheltons beard will make it all worth it :).  I love my WSM's, you are making a great choice.  Have fun!!

The stoker is high tech, allowing simultaneous control of several pits remotely by computer, and by all accounts will hold a pit temp rock steady f'rever. Mucho $. The IQue will control one pit, you can't screw with it  by computer from home, but it won't cost more than a WSM. That's my view...

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Hey azkitch I just got a Miller 135 amp welder for free last night from a buddy of mine he up graded... with that being said I could build me a couple of UDS's ! What do you think ? Hum decisions decisions I love the thought of a WSM but I could certainly build 2 UDS's easily for and still have change left over. May have to do a coin toss lol heads or tails folks ?

Remember, WSM's and UDS's are two different animals, and IMHO produce two seperate tasting meats. Having 2 of each, they both have their good and bad. Just don't think you can wrong either way. A 22.5" WSM can hold a lot of meat on two 22.5" racks, and a typical UDS has one 22.5" rack, without lid mods. Decisions......decisions....you could have worse problems!  ;D
