Would you spend $10 on this?

I also went to a metal salvage place on Washington and scored this

for $15. It's enough for 1 charcoal ring 15dX8h and most of a 15X6X6 box for the brinkmann.

As you can see here;

it's pretty shiny stuff. It isn't (it'sn't?) stainless, but I don't think its galvanized, either. Definitely steel. Any metal workers gotta clue?

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Only 19 or 20 to go to catch my hero Jay. DW said exactly what I said she'd say; "What, the one I gave you wasn't good enough?"

I got the one on the right for my birthday. The one behind TasteTester1!

The gas grill is out of gas. Hasn't been used for ages. Weber is being used in about 15 minutes. I've got 2 bags of RO briquettes to try. They're fairly cheep at KMart. Blue K is still cheaper, but I refuse to use it now. I'm a charcoal snob! I'd like to try maple sometime.
