Has anyone ever made a 55gal drum reverse flow smoker if so I little help would be nice.I am going to use a 55drum for the smoke chamber and a 10gal drum for the fire box. I think it will work and look nice. Well I am hoping it looks and works as good as it does in my mind

10 gallons for a firebox sounds pretty small. I'm picturing a small fish tank. I think the firebox on Brinkmann/Char Griller units is closer to 20 gallons.

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

I used a 15 gal hot water tank once and it worked out great! Weld a flat-top on the fire-box to cook beans, sauce, etc.

16 inch diameter and 18 inch length is just under 16 gallons. That's stuck to the side of my Brinkmann, which is also 16" diameter. 55 gallon drums are about 24" diameter; see if you can find a 25 or 35 gallon drum for the firebox.
The metal on those is quite thin, so it won't hold heat like propane tanks will. But those are dicey to cut and weld on unless you go through the 2 week neutralizing process...
