My first cook on the behemoth was for a Halloween party and I got very positive comments from all the guests and a few said I was the best they ever had.  BBQ that is!!  :)
I'll be at the event this weekend to taste true competition BBQ, I'm thinking it's not a far reach for me to enter comps but I need to evaluate the field to see if I'm completely delusional...

Thanks guys, I'll post more pics once I finish adding the sink/plumbing and solar :)   I don't think I can get it finished before the weekend but I should be able to make the next event no problem.

Is that a commercial model? Reverse flow, yes? It's bootiful. Or maybe buttiful! Certainly it's going to be fulla butts!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Thanks again, gentlemen!
Commercial?? I would suppose so, as it doesn't fit into my backyard :)  It does have reverse flow, I've never cooked on something like this before so I don't have anything to compare except my Weber Performer.  The trailer takes a TON of fuel and likes to sit around 225 degrees.
I am 99% done with all the mods on the rig, I just need to wait two weeks for the solar panel mount...oh, well...
Here's the deal-the solar panel acts as a charger for a plain ol' marine battery.  This powers the water pump, and there's reserve capacity for future expansion.
Cold water goes to the sink and to a tankless propane water heater.  These things are pretty dang slick if you ask me, TOASTY water in a matter of seconds.  Full hot & cold running water at the sink with no need for an electrical hookup!

That is pretty awesome.  Are you able to build something like that for one of our Diamondplate smokers??

Interesting........... you must have a small backyard if that won't fit................ time to buy a new house for your rig....... I know Mike likes that idea........

Heck yea, I could sell you a new Diamondplate Smoker, then a new house to go along with it.  That would be a great sales day...  :o  ;D
