Post by: Buzzards Circle N on November 21, 2010, 02:35:11 pm
Here is the start of my new Smoker its a Little bigger than the others the first picture is what we started with this morning and the second is what we ended up when we quit today!!

It will be a
rotisserie
it will have 12 shelves 30" x 10" and have the ability to cook 2 temperatures (its split in half.. and one half will be able to take shelves out and cook a hole hog or just flat.. at least thats the plan will keep you posted . Were trying to use up allot of the old steel in the yard.

Danny

If anyones interested in getting a smoker built get us a design and well give you a quote...

Awesome for sure.  I sure do like the idea of a rottisserie cooker.   After doing 60lbs of brisket flats on a couple of UDSs all that space would have been nice.  ;D

that is all kinds of cool. Love to see the work of guys who know how to build. How does it cook? Mine is big like that and cooks great but takes about and hour to get heated up. Love the look.

Love the build. Question. I am in the process of building a 6 sided and had the fire mounted in the same location as your but moved it up. Reason is when I mount on the trailer I want it to be the prober height so you can walk up to the back and open her. Wonder how that is going to effect it. I have also made my fire box detachable ie it bolts on. Going to be interesting to compare the two. Same concept slightly different design.
