Rub A Dub Tub

Got tired of rotating my water pans and grills grates in garage slop sink.  So picked up a plastic tub used for planting in whiskey barrels and added a drain spout.  Now all 4 water pans and 8 grates from WSM's will fit for a good soak...

 I like Dave,

I think I need to look at this option too. I don't like scrubbing!

Yeah Crash PLEASE!!  I have about $32.00 into it.  The bucket and fitting were $16.00 each.  Tried to find bucket forever that would hold the 22" WSM racks, can't believe how hard it was.  Finally teamate Scott who owns hardware store looked it up for me.  I would think some kids big play bucket would work and maybe cheaper...

Just tell him when you aren't using it, he can use it to ice down the beer. ;D

That looks terrific, Quiggs!

In a similar vein, I've used mortar tubs as wash/rinse/sanitize basins. They're sturdy, lightweight, cheap and stackable. I've used them to soak the grills from my ECB. It's been a while, but I think I picked them up at Harbor Freight. Here are some examples of different sizes.

Yeah Mark i had one for work but it was to skinny for the 22" grates.  I did find bigger one at Homer but it was huge!

Teamate Danny uses old fashion metal wash tub for this duty and it work well too.

I've had my eye on a 1/2 plastic 55 gal. drum in a yard of a vacant house nearby. That seems optimal...we know the 22" grates fit in them...and even if you can't steal one from a non-existent neighbor, they're dirt cheap anyway!

For cooking, lower and slower. For spices, mo' hotter, mo' better. Habaneros rule!

Cooked a ton of meat (ok 150 pounds) the last two weekends in three different WSM's and I was able to put all the racks and water pans in together!!!! Yeah baby........much easier now.........
