Picked this up at Lowes yesterday and can't wait to start using it. What does everything think of the mods on youtube? I know I have a gap in door for the fire box, and not sure what I'm going to do about that.

I like what this guy has done with the water pan, just gotta find a welder. He also uses a high heat caulking for some of the gaps and seals but not sure if it is food grade safe? Any knowledge of one that is? Thanks so much.

i wouldn't worry about a little smoke seaping out.......not sure if i like the water pan idea either. as soon as it fails there will be a big mess and then a potential of rust. i would run it stock for a while and then see where you are at.
