Teamates Shorty son Taylor & I decided to make a go at a big stick burner trailer rig for future shindigs we have been cooking for... Had a free boat trailer to start with and picked up 250 gallon tank for $150.00 from a client of mine and 24" gasline pipe freebie from another client (with promise of lunch BBQ later). That started the ball rolling.......so here goes....

Installing reverse flow removable panels:

Bending door strap sealers in place:
THE DOOR FROM HELL!! 1/2" plate steel leftove piece that weighs 67 pounds now in place and latch installed:
Checked in with our county health department about vending permits and discovered that the sink might have to be moved into our box trailer which SUCKS since we welded a friggin' 4" beam to hold it and have water tank and pump ready to install !!
-
Looking good! You might also want to check with your health department as to the sink requirements being NSF. The sink you have is not NSF and most counties do not allow their use for dish washing. These non-NSF sinks have square corners and are primarily used as utility sinks, laundry sinks or Slop sinks. Better to find out now rather than after finishing.

Yeah we were wondering about that, bottom of sink only has two rounded sides but he other two are square cut.

whats your total cost so far?
Were probably in the 1000.00 range.. New tires were the most expensive thing we bought. Trailer was free, tank 150.00, refer/hotbox - free, two burner stove 100.00.. Metal beams and screen has been a bit spendy and paint we bought already was 60.00..kept all recipts so it should be scary to total and see how we actually did..

Wow. This is gonna be serious

I have been watching this build for some time now it nice to see it come together into the finished product.
I wish my BBQ trailer had a refrigerator and a flat top you should be able to do some big time cooking on this rig. Good luck now lets see some photos of it in use.

Box that looks like refer, is actually an old refer we found dead...so we gutted it and turned it into a hot box (homemade Cambro)...

So first cook is over, we practiced with 20 whole chickens at a small gathering of RV friends then moved to a party at wifes work during some boat races... Rig worked great especially the flat grill.. It saved our A$* with 220 breakfast burritos in two days! Smoked 200#'s of pork and did 110 Brats

The rig looks fantastic and it looks like you covered all your bases with the flat top and additional burners. It sounds like you've started breaking it in and I wish you the best of luck going forward. Fantastic build to watch the progress.
