I am learning how to weld on this one. I am a better grinder then welder however.
This is my first attempt at  building a smoker. Hope the picture is here

that is something else! I like it! wait util you getthat cast iron all sanded and oiled up?! ugh, it'll be gorgeous!

That'll be one for the record books! I like it! I'd love to have a cast iron stove. I've got 5 skillets and 2 DOs to mate with one...

I really like the idea of being about to cook on top of the stove also. Coolest idea I have seen for a smoker yet.

that is all kinds of cool. Now I know what im going to do with the little stove that I have. You just might be my new hero ;)

Just a little fyi, if that old stove has alot of creasote build-up inside near the chimney opening, make sure to clean that well so you don't have an acrid smoke every time you cook! And in the rest of the inner /upper surface as well. I have a few old wood stoves and i had thought about making your type of cooker or running a stove pipe over to a old fridge as a smoker. Keep the pictures coming!
