I just picked up this beauty today. It's name will come soon. At first i was leaning towards a pellet grill, but saw this on the craigslist and knew it was the right one. Got it for $500. Any tips on how to set it up and while using it?  Never used one before, I've always had propane smokers. I am breaking it in today with a steak and some chicken  on the fire box grill.

Those are great smokers, you will enjoy cooking with it.

Just like with any smoker, it will take you a few cooks to get used to it, but hey, that's half the fun.

Keep posting pictures of it in action.

Congrats...  ;)

Very nice find.  I've seen similar ones sell new for $1200-$1700.   like those because you can put the larger meat in the stack an leave the grill top for the ribs and chicken.

That is a serious looking piece of equipment you have there!  Looks great, you should get a lot of good use out of it.

Nice! I saw that on CL too. How did you move it?

Brought a trailor and 2 buddies to move it ... But actually its well ballanced. Once you pick up the end it is easy for one person to move

I broke it in this weekend with a Boston Butt and some chicken. The food came out ok. Temps were all over the place while cooking, but I know I just need some practice with it.
