I have finally found a pure charcoal/wood pit that I can get 7-8 hours of cooking time without having
to reload wood and charcoal.
My Competition Pit is a Chuck Wagon Trailer and my patio pits are the Good-One Marshall and Open Range.
Here are a couple of pictures:

Are you still using the good one cookers? I'm eyeing one as my next cooker. These cookers are so different then the norm.
-
Chris is part of Ace of Hearts BBQ, which produces the Good Ones.
-
Is Chris a local guy? I know the good one is manufactured in Kansas City.
-
No, but he come out for comps and classes.
-
Right on, thanks. Have you ever seen the good one cook/tasted the product?
-
Yes, seen one and eaten from one. Very good cookers. Also you can try one from the guys at BBQ Island in Tempe. They have several you can try out. Just talk to Mike or Sheldon, they'll fix you up.

we just got our New Trailer model, so if anyone wants to rent it you can, if you end up buying one we subtract your rental fee of the balance.

I'll get down to BBQ island someday soon. I'm in Goodyear, so a bit of a drive. As I get settled in, I'll drag the family over there.

Ok, now I have to find me something to eat. And I know it wont taste as good as that looks.

Great pic's of meat and smokers

I stopped by the BBQ island, closed on Sunday. I wanted to see the good one again. I went online and looked at the videos on how to use the cooker. It left out many of the details. I'm still thinking this cooker is a good one, but keep it real with potential buyers. Good BBQ is hard work, if it was easy, good smoked brisket wouldn't cost 15 bucks a pound cooked when you buy that it for 2 bucks a pound raw.
