I have finally found a pure charcoal/wood pit that I can get 7-8 hours of cooking time without having
to reload wood and charcoal.

My Competition Pit is a Chuck Wagon Trailer and my patio pits are the Good-One Marshall and Open Range.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Are you still using the good one cookers?  I'm eyeing one as my next cooker.  These cookers are so different then the norm.

Yes, seen one and eaten from one. Very good cookers. Also you can try one from the guys at BBQ Island in Tempe. They have several you can try out. Just talk to Mike or Sheldon, they'll fix you up.

I'll get down to BBQ island someday soon.  I'm in Goodyear, so a bit of a drive.  As I get settled in, I'll drag the family over there.
