Ron,

That's a great looking smoker, looks fairly easy to use.  Does it have the propane too so you can use it like a grill?

Post some pictures with some of your great BBQ in it so we can really drool over it.

You like them moving links, it took me 2 minutes to catch it.  ;D

The Tucker is charcoal / wood fired... Gas could be added but why??? ???
On the Tucker you can grill, smoke or bbq. It has a grate that is adjustable just crank it up you have grilling action. Crank in down you have BBQ...

Here some eye bbq for ya Mike... left to right: Brisket, Butt, Chick'in and top rack Ribs Enjoy!

That is true about gas... It's fast but no flavor... waiting for good que makes my world. If I want a quick snack I hit BK...

For real bbq wood and coal is the way to go. To me for the time it take to fire the coals (about 20 min or less) it worth the wait...

It's true gas isn't needed for using charcoal. A chimney works pretty well. George has a point about easier lighting of the fire. It depends on the cooker, though. For something that uses charcoal, it isn't a neccesity. On a pit like mine, gas assist in the fire box is a must have. Using newspapers to get 4-5 split oak logs going is a bit more than I like to do.
