The pit got here yesterday. Pics on gator website does no justice. It is BIG and beautiful. I just ran out of light and was attacked by an entire regiment of skeeters. Will finish screeding out pad and setting down the flagstone in the morning. I have some buddies helping me partly dismantle and move a new storage shed tomorrow. Will get them to help me move the pit in place since they will be here helping get the shed put together in place. And they are working for beer and bbq. Getting up early to run to store and get some ribs to throw in the GOSM before I start anything else. I will take some pics to post once she is set on the pad.

This is so Awesome Bear! I am glad your pit finally arrived. So you are happy with it? even after the nightmare getting it to you? That is what really makes a company a great company.  That they can make a costumer happy even after a member of that company really screws up! I am so happy for you Bear. Cant wait to see the pics!

Cool Beans Bear. Nice looking rig.. Is that Gas in the bottom right of thefire box?  I have access to t portable rig that I an going to start usign on my catering job sites. I need to add gas to it...Is that fairly easy? anyone know of someone here in the valley or online selling kits?

Hey did you happen to notice the dog looking (& dreaming) through the spokes in the railing... even they can't wait.

I can't answer about kits. The gas log lighter was included with my pit. You may call and Ritch at gatorpits how they do it. You may find a welder in the valley hook up gas assist.

It is a great pit. It doesn't look anywhere near as clean as it does in those pics now.
